Hi, I’m Elena Marini, the cheerful soul and recipe creator behind Pastatic. Welcome to my little corner of the internet where pasta, flavors, and life’s simple joys come together.
My Story
I grew up in a small Italian town surrounded by the aroma of simmering sauces, fresh herbs from the garden, and the sound of family laughter around the table. Cooking was never just about food for me—it was about connection, tradition, and happiness.
For years, I worked in a completely different field, but my passion for cooking never faded. During weekend bike rides through the mountains, I would find inspiration in nature—fresh air, vibrant colors, and the simplicity of life outdoors. My love for animals, especially my little flock of birds, also reminded me daily of the importance of care, patience, and joy in everything we do.
In 2019, I finally decided to bring all of this together and launch Pastatic, a blog dedicated to easy, authentic, and delicious pasta recipes. My mission is simple: to help home cooks everywhere enjoy pasta the way it’s meant to be—fun, flavorful, and full of love.
Why Pastatic?
The name Pastatic comes from my obsession with pasta and the idea that cooking should always feel fantastic. Whether it’s a comforting bowl of creamy fettuccine, a quick weeknight penne dish, or a vibrant seasonal pasta salad, I believe there’s a pasta recipe for every mood and moment.
